I saw this video of these young conscientious objectors
to the Israeli mandatory military service and my heart melted.
I wanted to hug them for making this. I can still hardly get my
head around how it was allowed to be released. So I will surely
post it everywhere and give my support as well.
Here is their message:


Contrary to Israeli war party propaganda in the US,
not all Jews and not all Israeli's support Israel's Nazi-like
conduct in the Occupied Territories. Not all Israeli's support
their government's policy of endless war against Palestinian civilians
because Israel is NOT simply "defending" itself against the Palestinians.
These are lies that the US-Israeli media mafia guards most closely and
desperately hopes Americans never figure out.

This simple fact is probably the single most censored piece of news in the United States.

Here are some young people heading to prison because they won't join the genocide.

US War Resisters Stand In Solidarity With Shministim

U.S. military service members and veterans who have refused
or are currently refusing to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan,
stand in solidarity with the Shministim and urge others to
support them and take action.

December 18-19th, 2008 — 08:45 pm

December 18th, was the Shministim Day of Action in Israel. Even
as Tamar Katz remained in solitary confinement, the Shministim were
thrilled. They told us they had not seen this much media coverage in Israel of young refusers in years. The global response, which continues to grow, has been overwhelming.


Third Prison Term for Raz Bar-David Varon

The Shministim Day of Action has come and gone but the cause
cannot be forgotten and support continues to grow. After attending
the Day of Action in Israel and helping to deliver over 22,000 letters
to the Army Headquarters, Raz Bar-David Varon has been sentenced
again for the THIRD time.
